| Jim's Name Ten Get $20 shirt
caught the attention of a street artist named Curt, and that lead
into a one-2-one. Sadly, he was a pantheistic post-modernist and Jim
couldn't reach a point where Curt was concerned about judgment or the
possibility of hell. He didn't get to the message of grace, however,
Curt
was willing take a Gospel of John and an "Are
You Good Enough To Go To
Heaven?" tract to check out later. |

| Greg meets two youth from his church at the fair. | |
| Richard shares the gospel at the Jackson County Fair. | |
| The Name Ten Get $20 Challenge
leads Jim to a one-2-three with the marines at their recruitment booth.
It was amazing to watch these hardcore military men come under
conviction to such a point they turned down their heavy metal music and
tucked their "girly" magazines out of sight as they talked. |
|
| Richard shares the gospel at the Jackson County Fair. | |
| Richard talks one-2-one with Robert at Lithia Park. Though it's a little faint, Greg also follows-up with Robert at the end. | |
| Richard takes a couple through the Name Ten Get $20 challenge and then shows them how we use the Mirror of the Law. | |
| This couple tried the Name Ten Get
$20 challenge. When Randy shifted into the Good Person Test
and the gospel, they revealed this was a divine
appointment. The two of them had just been
talking over such things and thinking
about going to church with their family the next morning. (Note:
There's some background noise in this audio as someone seems to tap
something on the table now and them, but it's a good encounter and
worth listening to.) |
|
| Another
divine appointment, where they had recently been talking about
spiritual
matters. Greg started by giving Jordan the Name Ten Get $20 challenge
and then handed the encounter off to Jim. They got to clarify the
gospel
and fit some of the puzzle pieces together for them. |
|
| Randy & Terri had the chance to encourage this group in true repentance and trusting the Savior. | |
| Tom was a new Christian... only
three months old in Christ! This was a neat chance to
emphasize the essentials in the gospel and talk about amazing grace
with justice and love meeting in the cross. |
|
| A divine appointment
with a mother and daughter. Faith tried the Name Ten
Get $20
challenge. As they talked about the commandments, she told Jim she
had just been talking about how she shouldn't be
using God's name in vain. They talked a little more after the
recording, and Faith said she knew God was trying to
get her attention. |
|
| One
thing that really touched Jim was Pressa said
she
was afraid that God wasn't out there after we die. As he
shared
the gospel, he had her undivided attention. She took in every
word
of the message: sin, righteousness, judgment and the amazing grace that
was shown in the cross.
|
|
| This
is one of Jim's favorite
witnessing encounters. Both
were professing Christians, yet missing some of the pieces for bringing
the full picture of salvation together. Tristan asked some
great
questions, and they covered the full count of the gospel (sin,
righteousness, judgment, and AMAZING GRACE). Whether Jim got to plant a
seed or water what was already there, he's grateful that God lead him to
these guys. |
|
| She came from a Mormon family
and he was pretty much agnostic. Jim shared the gospel and they asked
some good questions. They talked for almost an hour! Both of them said
they'd never heard the gospel this way before and both said it made
sense. |
|
| Sharing the gospel with five young teens outside the ice cream shop. | |
| As Jim wrapped up talking with the girls, Diego came along to challenge him over homosexuality. | |
| A young, interesting couple. She believes in reincarnation. He's not sure what happens after death. |
